Roberto's House

At first, a modest and in a poor state of repair house on the Sítio Santo Antônio da Bica, it was gradually refurbished and extended to its current state. The music room was refurbished in the 1950s, and a wooden lining reproducing the ceiling of an 18th century townhouse of Ouro Preto (MG) was added. In the 1980s, the landscaper acquired the door of a demolished church, which required the construction of a lower level, higher-ceilinged room, today known as the ceramics room. At the beginning of the 1990s the dining room was extended. In all renovations, the colonial aspect of the house was preserved: one storey, whitewashed walls, blue-painted windows and doors.
