By Metro: use the integrated bus to Barra da Tijuca (Alvorada Terminal), which leaves from Estação General Osório, in Ipanema. At Terminal Alvorada, take the BRT (Transoeste express line), towards Santa Cruz and get off at Ilha de Guaratiba Station (the first stop after the Grota Funda Tunnel, at the end of Recreio) and use line 874 (BRT integrated bus) or line 867 (Campo Grande–Barra de Guaratiba). .
By bus: use the lines which integrate with the Ilha de Guaratiba BRT station. From this station, take line 867 (Campo Grande–Barra de Guaratiba) towards Barra de Guaratiba.
