- The Sítio Roberto Burle Marx is a delicate ecosystem and is cultural heritage which belongs to all of us. Touching objects in the house, collecting flowers, leaves, branches, fruits and seeds, even from the floor, is not permitted.
- Visits to the Sítio Roberto Burle Marx require prior booking and are accompanied by guides.
- We suggest using comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing for the walk, as well as the use of insect repellent. Entrance is not permitted if shirtless or wearing a bathing suit, and meals, the consumption of alcohol, smoking and picnics are forbidden, as well as pets.
- The site has drinking fountains available at visitation points, and does not provide a cafe or lunch service.
- The Sítio Roberto Burle Marx has a limited number of parking spaces available and an area for vans to board/unboard. Vehicles parked on the property awaiting the return of passengers must switch engines off.
- Photography is permitted in indoor and outdoor spaces, but professional photography and filming is not permitted without prior authorisation. For requests, click here.
- We kindly request that you arrive 15 minutes before the arranged time of your visit. Once the visit has started, late arrivals will be directed by security to the group’s current location and will not be able to return to the places which have already been visited.
- The Sítio is not responsible for lost property during the visit.
